This notice explains how your personal data is handled when you contact me or use the chat assistant on aisolutionsmarbella.com.
Who is responsible for your data

What data I collect
- What you write in the contact form: your name and email and, if you choose to give them, your company, sector, what you’re interested in, your phone or WhatsApp number and your message.
- The language and page you sent the form from.
- A one-way code derived from your IP address, used only to detect abuse. The IP address itself is never stored.
Why I use it and on what legal basis
I use your data only to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). I don’t use it for marketing or newsletters, and no automated decisions are made about you.
How long I keep it
Up to 12 months from the day you send the form; after that it is deleted automatically. If we start working together, the data needed for that relationship is kept for as long as the law requires.
Who else processes it
The website, the database and the anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) run on Cloudflare, Inc., acting as a data processor; the database is located in Western Europe. Emails are sent through Resend, also acting as a data processor, from its EU region (Ireland). Messages reach my mailbox at Google (Gmail). These providers may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold or shared with anyone else.
The chat assistant
The chat on this website is an AI assistant, and it tells you so. When you use it:
- What is stored: your messages and the assistant’s replies, the page and language you chatted from, your country (worked out by Cloudflare from your connection) and the amount of text processed. Your IP address is not stored.
- Why, and on what legal basis: to answer your questions, as a step you ask for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to check the quality of the answers and correct mistakes, which is my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- For how long: 30 days. After that, conversations are deleted automatically.
- Who processes it: your messages are sent to OpenAI, acting as a data processor, to write the replies. OpenAI is based in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, and data sent through its API is not used to train its models. Conversations are stored on Cloudflare, like the rest of the website’s data.
- If you send your details from the chat: they are handled exactly like a contact form message, as described above, and the conversation so far is included in the email I receive about your enquiry.
Please don’t share health information or other sensitive data in the chat.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the form from bots, may store strictly necessary technical data in your browser. If you open the chat, the conversation is kept in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, by writing to hola@aisolutionsmarbella.com. If you believe your data hasn’t been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
